Photohunter: Funny, but sad...

Signs like this always make me laugh and then shake my head. It's always sad that signs like this are needed. Sometimes people just need to use a little courtesy and common sense. What's really sad is that I know that even with the sign, there is a very good chance that stuff is still being tossed at the alligator.

You're right: it is sad that these signs are required to knock some sense into people.

Like the big fence isn't enough correct? Same with litter bugs-they'll take the easy way out and toss stuff out their car windows even though a sign is up.
It is sad.

Exactly. Like do we need signs than use our commonsense. Very good take on the sad theme.

It is both funny and sad.

The items on the sign are interesting. I presume they represent things that were (are) often tossed. It seems that people think the alligator would appreciate a soft drink or other goodies. Now maybe the alligator would like a cheeseburger which I could understand, but I figure most people are not going to want to share a perfectly good cheeseburger, even with an alligator.

You're right! The sign is funny, but the message is not. I know what you mean.

I did Photo Hunters today, too. I hope you get a chance to visit and post your link.

An eXcellent choice for the theme (sad). The sign is clever and amusing, yet a sad commentary on widespread lack of common sense!

Floriade is a Spring bulb spectacular, planted out in our main park around the lake. It is on for a month every year.

Then they dig up the bulbs, and the park goes back to normal.

This year they had the little pavillion with the bonsai. I used to keep them before I started working full time and before I had children. Mine all died off years ago.

I find funny that the 'Spanish' word for alligator there is 'aligator' (which doesn't exist in our language).

We only have one name for alligators and crocodiles: they're all 'cocodrilos' for us... :-)

Thanks for dropping by, and I hope you have a great week!

My post...

It makes me mad to think there are such morons around. The same people who would toss their rubbish on the ground a metre from a bin and so on.

Great take on this week's theme

Sad indeed. It's quite amazing how thoughtless, or stupid, people can be.

You are right! Funny yet sad. Can't blame, people tends to toss stuffs at gators to test their actions while they don't know most of the gators only react to fresh meats. XD. It's sad too see all the stuffs surrounding those gators. :(]

Have a great week ahead.
